The PROTOBLAST™ sneaker experiments with our archive’s origins and reinterprets them for today. Advanced technologies are teamed with modern performance influences to create a design that looks and feels like the future. Key details from the GEL-100™ running franchise were used to construct the midfoot, eyestay, and logo applications. Meanwhile, the midsole unit and toe design draw inspiration from the GELBURST ™ and GEL-HOOP ™ 6 basketball shoes. Inspired by our performance running collection, this shoe also features FF BLAST™ cushioning. We wanted to rethink the foam’s functionality by tuning it with everyday scenarios in mind.
